The Beginning of a Legacy
Rousseau Insurance was founded by Paul and Therese Rousseau in their Biddeford home. Their goal was simple: to protect neighbors and local businesses with honest, reliable insurance guidance. That commitment to community became the foundation of everything the agency stands for today.

The Rousseau family expanded the agency, welcoming the second generation into leadership. With new energy and vision, the business grew beyond Biddeford while maintaining the same neighborly service that defined its roots.

A Family Legacy Grows
A New Home on Elm Street
The building that became Rousseau Insurance’s new home has deep family roots. It was first purchased by the Rousseau family’s great-grandparents in 1962 and later by their grandparents in 1984. What began as a family home has grown into the heart of the agency, a place that continues to represent care, commitment, and connection to the community.
